Keppet Changelog
Versions of the Keppet app, newest first. The date is the day the version was set in the code.
1.22.5 · 18 October 2026
- Android: Keppet now displays correctly on phones whose Android System WebView has not been updated in years.
1.22.4 · 17 October 2026
- An App Store purchase that takes a while to confirm no longer sends Keppet a false "not bound to any account" alert.
1.22.3 · 17 October 2026
- The privacy policy now covers purchases made through the App Store.
1.22.2 · 17 October 2026
- iOS: the app now needs iOS 16.4 or later.
- The founder dashboard is no longer part of the iOS and Android apps. It stays on the website.
1.22.1 · 17 October 2026
- The app lock now starts once you have signed in. A new install opens on the sign-in screen.
- Android: the sign-in page no longer sits under the status bar.
- Android: Restore purchases checks again with Google Play and says what it found: active, no purchases, family shared, not active, or could not check.
1.22.0 · 13 October 2026
- A purchase made after another subscription on your account passed its renewal date is first checked with the store that holds it. If that subscription is still paid, the new purchase is recorded as a duplicate and refunded.
- A Google Play subscription that renews late while you also hold a web subscription is recorded as a duplicate without the app being open.
- A refund notice that failed to send is sent again.
- Messages at the bottom of the screen now show above an open dialog.
- Archiving a space now says its files stay in your storage.
1.21.1 · 12 October 2026
- Android: share an image from another app to Keppet and it opens Talk with the image attached. If you are signed out, the image is kept for 30 minutes. Only the first image of a multiple share is used.
- Android: a cold start no longer leaves the top of the page under the status bar on phones with an older WebView.
- Android: reminders no longer open the system Alarms settings screen. The app lock offers the device PIN.
- Android: the status bar icons follow the app theme.
- Android: Settings has a Restore purchases link, and the monthly plan line says it renews automatically.
- Android: built on Capacitor 8.
1.21.0 · 12 October 2026
- Data format 2.6. After one device updates and syncs, devices on an older app version become read-only until they update.
- Skipping or editing a repeating bill before its due date now holds, even when another device records the bill after the due date. Undo after a skip works, and a "this and following" change stays in place when another device edits the old series.
- A transaction moved to another month no longer shows in the old month on a second device when the move was interrupted. A sync that stops now names the collection and record that caused it.
- Importing statements is fixed in three cases: an OFX amount with a comma decimal no longer fails the whole file, MT940 rows from banks that write whole amounts or leave the entry date blank now import, and a Wallet export with an unrecognised type column no longer imports expenses as income. Rows that cannot be classified are skipped and listed.
- Signing in from a link such as /subscribe returns you to that page instead of Home.
- When the monthly Keppet AI limit is reached, the app says Keppet AI is paused. Typed words stay in the box and a snapped receipt photo is kept.
- When Keppet AI has not answered after 3 seconds, the request is sent a second time and the first answer is used.
- Voice input is hidden on devices that cannot do it, and Talk says to type instead.
- Bug reports carry the real app version. Screenshots keep their true file type, and a network that sends more than 10 reports in an hour is told to try again later.
- Gift code redemption stops after 10 failed tries in an hour.
- The landing page no longer jumps to the top when the app loads, allows pinch zoom, and shows real screens of the Ledger, Budget and Assets.
- Support, About, Changelog and Delete account pages are published and linked from Settings.
- The privacy policy now describes what the servers keep, how receipts are stored and deleted, the relay for other git hosts, voice input, retention and how to ask for deletion.
- A web checkout made while you hold a live Google Play subscription is treated as a duplicate: it is cancelled and refunded. A repeated delivery of a web subscription already on file is never refunded.
- If an account has more than one paid source, one gives access. A duplicate that is still billing takes over once the other ends.
- Screens and sign-in text say Keppet instead of "your agent", state where your data is stored, and no longer print a number of free AI reads.
1.20.21 · 9 October 2026
- Sign-ins from a self-hosted Gitea, Forgejo or GitLab server can no longer list, open or delete stored receipt images. Snapping and reading a receipt still work.
1.20.20· 6 October 2026
- AI-filed amounts in another currency convert into the paying account at today's rate, with the original kept in the note (for example "Original amount 10.99 EUR").
- Filed amounts never round to zero, and one bad AI-filed row can no longer stop sync.
1.20.19 · 3 October 2026
- AI extraction scales amounts by currency, so non-UK amounts, pence and yen no longer land 100 times off.
- Typed amount-only chats answer in about a second instead of five to nine.
- Android 15 on older WebViews keeps the bottom of the screen clear of the navigation bar.
1.20.18 · 3 October 2026
- The add sheet shows the time beside the date.
- On phones the category grid collapses to one swipeable row, with an All toggle to see every category.
1.20.17 · 1 October 2026
- Import and export in Settings. Export a Keppet backup, OFX or QIF. Import statement files (QIF, MT940, CAMT.053, XLSX) and exports from other budgeting apps, with an Undo for each import.
- The Ledger has a button for adding a transaction in one tap.
